Here's a bunch of features listed. Go through this list and think critically which of these you should and could include into your game!

  • Storyline: in or out, name of the game, dialogs, game texts
  • Game world: environment, character(s), objects , setting, theme
  • Core mechanics, camera, physics, controls, power-ups, score system, combos
  • Communication: how to tell player that he's doing well, hud, tutorial, help, visual feedback
  • UI: briefing, debriefing, cutscenes, intro, outro, main menu, map screen, other menus, in game menus, credits, loading, pause screen, splash screen, confirmations, settings
