TIME TO BRAINSTORM

Next we'll brainstorm a bit for you to come up with game ideas!
Before you start, prepare:
1) Time
Have about an hour available.
2) Prepare yourself
Get plenty of paper and pen, coffee or another drink and go to the toilet if you need to be ready.
3) Prepare the website
Find any website which has free random images and a lot of different types of images visible. You can use a website like dreamstime for the images.
4) Prepare your timer
Use your mobile phone or other to time you, spend about 50 second per picture. You might want to save the images before and have a software like FastStone to change the image every 50 sec.
The only exception is that for the last image I want you to create 3 ideas!
5) Relax
Now before we start, stand up, close your eyes, let your arms drop, roll your shoulders and exhale and inhale slowly and calmly until you feel the tension going away
6) Inspiration
Look at the pictures on the left to give you inspiration!

7) Do it!
Now start and write at least one game idea per every picture till time is up!

After you have done this
1) Select the 3 best ideas and continue with those here and here.
2) Save your ideas and return to them a week later. Mark it into your calendar! You will notice that your views might have changed and there might be some gems you missed earlier!

You can use an idea you have or the idea you just came up with in the future parts
